The Final customer dashboard allows Final’s credit card holders to view their account status, manage multiple merchant-locked cards, and make payments towards their accounts. Ultimately my role on this project involved not just developing the application, but also improving the product itself, the user experience, and in some cases the visual design.

The Final credit application website serves the purposes of deliving product information, account creation, and applying for a credit card. Much like the dashboard application, I took on responsibilities beyond my role as developer and contributed to the user experience and visual design.

Senior Capstone Consulting Project

As a part of my engineering degree program, I participated in a senior capstone consulting project. The capstone program pairs teams of 5-6 undergraduate students with established companies looking for creative solutions to a particular problem they face. My team was tasked by Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks to explore and invent novel mobile interface extensions to the SolidWorks desktop software.

I worked as an intern on the open source Tessel Project, creating Javascript libraries for interacting with various hardware sensors and peripherals. I also developed prototypes for OTA software updates and a universal protocol for remote sensor communication

Disney Technology Showcase

As a part of a 5 month internship with The Walt Disney Company, I developed a hardware and software package for authoring multi-media presentations which connect to and control various electronic devices in the presentation space. This project was designed to tie all of the technologies of the Disney SyncLink platform together, without the need to be inside a Disney theme park for the technologies to work.

Course Instructor / Curriculum Development - Olin College

I developed the curriculum for and co-taught courses in web application development, mobile application development, and introduction to programming in Python at Olin College of Engineering. I also co-authored a stand-alone version of the web development course for self-directed learning.
